i2Coalition Announces New Board Chair for 2026: Keith Drazek
Following a unanimous resolution from our Board members, i2Coalition can now announce Keith Drazek, VP of Policy & Government Relations at Verisign, as our new Board Chair.
Keith joined Verisign in June 2010, where he has focused on internet policy development and implementation as well as government and stakeholder relations. He had previously spent 10 years at the United States Department of State, as well as holding several management positions in the domain name industry.
“The Internet Infrastructure Coalition is an important voice promoting awareness of the critical role of internet infrastructure operators and ensuring that policy-makers understand the impact of legislation and regulation on our industry,” says Drazek. “I am proud to take on this important role at i2Coalition during this dynamic time, and I look forward to ensuring the support of the Board so the i2Coalition team can continue its excellent advocacy work on behalf of all members.”
Keith’s varied career is characterized by engagement with the Internet infrastructure ecosystem. He has been an active ICANN member for more than 20 years, having served as Chair of the Expedited Policy Development Process (EPDP) Phase 2A Working Group. Keith had previously served as Chair of the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) Council, as Chair of the Registries Stakeholder Group (RySG), and as part of the Country Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO) Council.
Keith was also a member of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) Transition Coordination Group (ICG) and a key contributor to the IANA Transition’s ICANN Accountability and Transparency Cross-Community Working Group (CCWG).
“I’ve worked closely with Keith for years through both our Board and Strategy Committee, and he’s consistently brought thoughtful judgment, practical leadership, and a collaborative approach to every discussion,” says i2Coalition Executive Director Christian Dawson. “I’m looking forward to working with him as Board Chair.”
